WHAT?
Technology Club of Thrace is a non-profit club founded in Alexandroupolis, Greece by technology enthusiasts, professionals and amateurs alike.
WHY?
Primary goals are to:
- spread technology to local community, especially young girls and boys
- network local tech companies, academia and society
- mentor and guide prospective entrepreneurs
- promote open source and open data
HOW?
Main instruments include:
- educational events and activities
- open seminars on programming
- hands-on workshops on innovative hardware prototypes and inventions
- invited keynote speakers
- weekly brownbag sessions
- technology corner: common space to meet and share experiences and interest in technology
