AstroPi – Mission Zero

On Saturday, January 25, at 11:00 AM, the continuation of the Hour of Code 2019 event will be organized, for teams to send their code into space as part of the Mission Zero competition.

The Mission Zero competition offers students and young people the opportunity to write a computer program, which will be executed on the International Space Station! Teams write a simple program that displays a message to the astronauts on the spacecraft. You do not need special equipment or programming skills.

The Thrace Technology Association participates in the competition and is the link in our city for teams to send their code into space. All programs of participants who follow the rules will be guaranteed to be executed in space and will receive a special certificate that will show exactly where the ISS was during the execution of the program.

Those interested in attending are asked to fill out the interest form on the page. Priority will be given.

Teams are requested to bring their own laptop, if available, for the development of the program. If not, there will be a limited number available.
